Inspiration has a place.
Gatherings of GESE
The gatherings of GESE trace the evolution of a conversation that began in 2022 and continues to grow in depth, perspective, and reach.
Though each meeting differs in form and setting, they all share the same intention: to create space for clear thinking, honest dialogue, and lasting connection.
Together, they compose a living record of the forum’s ongoing exploration of creativity, technology, and leadership in the digital age.
Each edition offers a new context for reflection — a moment in which Europe’s creative and technological leaders meet to exchange ideas, build understanding, and strengthen a sense of shared purpose.
Tenerife 2022.
The Beginning of a
New Conversation
The inaugural edition of GESE took place in Tenerife, bringing together a pioneering group of executives, creators, and policymakers to launch a new kind of forum, one focused not on promotion, but on reflection, trust, and long-term strategy.
In this first encounter, participants identified the need for a European space for collective thinking, free from the pressures of public performance and designed to provoke real strategic dialogue. The foundations of the GESE format—confidentiality, facilitated discussion, and participant-driven agendas—were born here.

Nerja 2024.
Expanding the Horizon
Held in the coastal town of Nerja, near Málaga, the second edition of GESE marked a moment of consolidation. The group expanded to include a wider array of international leaders and began to explore cross-sector synergies with industries such as film, animation, and immersive media.
Key themes included the role of artificial intelligence in creative production, the importance of sustainability in entertainment, and the need for a unified European voice in global digital policy. The edition also laid the groundwork for long-term initiatives, including early conversations around the creation of a European Academy for Digital Entertainment.

The London session affirmed GESE’s ambition to act as a bridge between sectors, disciplines, and geographies, and highlighted the increasing relevance of its network in shaping the future of entertainment policy, innovation, and investment.
