Wednesday, October 29

Arrival & Coastal Welcome

Participants will be welcomed at Asturias Airport (OVD) and transferred by private vehicles arranged by the organization to the summit’s venue, the elegant Hotel Palacio de Luces, nestled between the mountains and the sea.

In the afternoon, we invite you to ease into the GESE experience with a gentle walk and gastronomic discovery in the nearby fishing village of Lastres—a picturesque coastal enclave where tradition, nature, and flavor converge to welcome the group.

Thursday, October 30

Strategic Sessions & Gala in Oviedo

GESE’s working sessions will take place in the Hotel Palacio de Luces, which will be exclusively reserved for participants throughout the summit. This private and inspiring setting offers ideal conditions for strategic reflection, exchange, and collaboration.

Participants will engage in facilitated discussions on the most relevant challenges and opportunities in the future of digital entertainment.  

In the evening, the group will travel to Oviedo, the regional capital, for a refined gala dinner, combining local elegance, connection, and celebration.

Friday, October 31

Second Day of Strategic Sessions & Closing Dinner in Gijón

The summit continues with a second full day of strategic sessions, again held at the hotel, providing space to deepen key discussions, align visions, and advance shared goals for the industry.

In the evening, the group will gather in Gijón for a memorable sunset gathering and closing dinner, celebrating the journey, the connections made, and the road ahead.

Sponsored Picos de Europa Experience – November 1st

Participants will have the opportunity to extend their stay with an optional cultural and gastronomic journey on Saturday, November 1st —a day that pays subtle tribute to the spirit of Anthony Bourdain, whose love for Asturias captured the essence of everything this land has to offer: authenticity, tradition, and flavor born from place.

This curated experience includes:

  • A guided excursion into the Picos de Europa, with a visit to the legendary Cabrales Cheese Caves—followed by a tasting deep inside the mountain, where tradition and nature blend in silence and stone

     

  • Lunch at Molín de Mingo, a countryside restaurant hidden in the Asturian hills, known for its devotion to seasonal ingredients and personally recommended by Bourdain as a place of simple, unforgettable brilliance

     

  • Dinner at the internationally acclaimed Güeyu Mar, on the coastal edge of Asturias, where fire meets the finest seafood. Here, Bourdain celebrated one of the best grilled fish experiences of his career, elevating this small restaurant to global fame.

     

  • An additional night of accommodation (Saturday, November 1st)

This final day invites participants to slow down, connect with the land, and experience a region that has inspired culinary explorers and storytellers from around the world.
