Program Overview

Wednesday, October 29

Arrival & Asturian Welcome

Participants arrive at Asturias Airport (OVD) and are transferred by private vehicles to Hotel Palacio de Luces, a five-star retreat nestled between the Cantabrian Sea and the Asturian mountains.
After check-in, a welcome drink will be served as participants settle in and connect with fellow attendees.

Transfer to Trabanco Cider Cellar.

Visit and Traditional Espicha Dinner at Trabanco
An authentic Asturian welcome in one of the region’s historic llagares de sidra. Participants will tour the cider cellar, learn the secrets of espichar la sidra, and enjoy a festive dinner accompanied by local delicacies, music, and bagpipes — a joyful immersion into Asturian culture and hospitality.

Departure Planning & Farewell Transfers

After breakfast, private transfers will be arranged for participants departing from Asturias Airport (OVD) or nearby train stations.
The GESE 2025 journey concludes — but the conversations, ideas, and friendships born in Asturias will continue shaping the chapters of The 2030 Games Almanac.
